Profile

Update your profile information, email addresses, and language preferences

The Settings > Profile page is where you manage your personal account information β€” your photo, name, email addresses, connected accounts, and language preferences. Changes made here apply to your account across all organizations you belong to.


Photo

Your profile photo appears throughout the interface β€” in conversation threads, member lists, and the navigation bar.

To upload or change your photo:

  1. Go to Settings > Profile.

  2. Click your avatar image or the Upload link beneath it.

  3. Select an image file from your device. The photo saves automatically.

To remove your current photo, click your avatar and choose the remove option. Your initials will be shown as a fallback.


Name

Your display name is visible to all members in your organization. The First name and Last name fields save automatically when you click away β€” there is no separate save button.

To update your name:

  1. Go to Settings > Profile.

  2. Click the First name or Last name field and type your changes.

  3. Click outside the field or press Tab to save.


Email addresses

This section lists all email addresses associated with your account. Your primary email is marked with a (Primary) label and is used for account notifications and sign-in.

Managing existing emails

For each email address on the account, the following actions may be available:

  • Set as primary β€” makes this the primary address (only available for verified addresses).

  • Resend verification β€” sends a new verification email if the address is not yet verified.

  • Remove β€” removes the address from your account. This option is only available if you have more than one email address on file.

Adding a new email address

To add a new email address:

  1. Click the Add email address button.

  2. In the modal that appears, enter the new email address.

  3. Click Add. A verification email will be sent to that address.

  4. Open the verification email and click the confirmation link.

A new email address must be verified before it can be set as your primary address.


Connected accounts

You can connect Google or Microsoft accounts to your Actian AI Analyst account. This allows you to sign in using OAuth without needing a password, and links your social identity to your profile.

To connect an account:

  1. Go to Settings > Profile.

  2. In the Connected accounts section, find the provider you want to connect (Google or Microsoft).

  3. Click Connect next to that provider and follow the OAuth flow.

To disconnect a provider, click Disconnect next to the connected account. You can always reconnect it later.

If your only sign-in method is a connected account (i.e. no password is set), disconnecting it may lock you out. Set a password first under Settings > Security before disconnecting.


Language

The Language dropdown controls the display language of the entire interface. Changing this setting takes effect immediately and applies across all organizations on your account.

The following languages are available:

  • English

  • French

  • Japanese

  • Dutch

  • Portuguese

To change your language:

  1. Go to Settings > Profile.

  2. Click the Language dropdown and select your preferred language.

  3. The interface updates immediately β€” no page reload required.
